our story…
Brian: When traveling to Italy in 2010, I was fascinated by the numerous walk-up espresso stands all over town that were serving the locals. There were no seats. Locals would walk up, take their shot of espresso, socialize with whoever was standing next to them and carry on with their day. That’s when I wanted to go deeper into coffee to understand its history, appreciate the intensive labor involved by coffee-producing countries to grow the coffee cherries and understand how it is processed and roasted to perfection. I want to bring that sense of unity and community around my coffee whether it’s at home, a cafe, or at work — where we spend most of our precious time.
